handlebar risers

ya it makes them a little tight though

i have a +2 stem, all cables work fine, but i did have to re-route the throttle cable, it would fit until i turned full right.

personal preference really, most people that stand up alot prefer the taller bars so your not bent over as much.

i have a 3.5" rox riser, i had to lengthn my clutch cable. it only took me 3 Clutch kits to figure it out haha. definitly more comfortable.

Which one did you get? 2" riser didn't affect your cables?

i have a houser +2 stem, running all stock cables except brake lines, but im pretty sure the stock ones would fit the bars, just not the a arms.

where does one get a good set of risers? or is it better to just buy a stem.....from what i heard from friends if you crash you break or bend the risers instead of bending a steering stem....

a stem is stronger then risers and a stock stem, they also have anti vibe mounts, and other things, like different flags that relocate the tie rod mounts for less bump steer, or adjustable stops so you can turn sharper, etc...

so what everyone is saying if i get a +2 stem or risers i just have to change the brake cable?

you probably wont need anything, there is a clip on the stock brake line that holds it to the frame, take that clip off, and it will give you much more movement...

i only replaced mine for wider a arms.

thanks guys that really helpped alot, which stem have the different flags for the tierods? idk if i should go alittle more exspensive and get anti-vibe or go cheap and just get the bars higher
