Just traded the Z400, which I got in trade for some other stuff, for an '03 YZ250F, exactly the dirtibke I was looking for and finally a deal went through after about 2-3 months of trying. Corners still don't feel too great, but still gotta get used to it...

One of my friends also got one too both on the same trip, it's a YZ125, so this means another riding buddy right there =D

Man, I wish I could ride a dirtbike. I always feel like I'ma lose the back end.

I'm gonna try it for a few months and if I turn out to like this one a lot better than my yfz then I'll sell the yfz but if it's the other way around then this one's gone. Right now its basically gonna be something cheaper and more reliable to drive since my yfz is still down and gonna be a 501 runnin on mixed gas once it gets back up...

my mom and i bought my dad a new yz250 last x-mas, ive been riding it alot. coming from a guy who has maybe a few hours on a dirtbike you will get used to it eventually, and just when you think your getting good youll dump it haha. they are great fun just feather that front brake it will get u every time. the only thing tho is every time you get off the bike and jump on your quad you will think there is something wrong with it bc there is no comparison when it comes to acceleration.

bikes are fun to ride, but i would way rather ride my YFZ. Sweet bike tho dude.

I cant corner very well cuz i always think the front tire is gunna wash out or loose traction with both wheels. I dont know how James Stewart or Chad Reed can lean over like that and be grabbin a handful of throttle with them 55-60+HP bikes.

I disagree with this statement personally. My cousin had a yz250f and on pavement, doing rolling starts, acceleration was in my favor with just an exhaust. Bikes are fast but IMO the 250 isnt faster than a yfz. Now the yz450f, thats a whole other beast

I just tried jumping it a little a few minutes ago... I got maybe 5 feet of air WOO HOO!!! DEFINATELY a lot getting used to, I'm always scared of the throttle going down and loosing it, like my friends just did haha

oh ok b4 i say your wrong im talking abt a yz250 two stroke not yzf four, theres no way a yfz can touch the yz250 unless its majorly built i know from experience. just alittle misunderstanding

im freakn jelouse i got an 03 YZ125 now i want a YZ250f when i start working in a few weeks im goin 2 save up for a YZ250f so then ill have a dirtbike for the MX track and my YFZ450 for the woods but nice dirtbike man

if i could buy my goodies all over again, id get a cheap 450 and build it as a drag bike, then get a 450 dirt bike for all other play. A couple of years ago, first dirt bike i ever rode, was a 450 in the dunes. Cant even describe how much fun it was, took me about two full days to get the hang of carving and going up or down hills.

but im actually looking to get one of these now, ahahahha
