I have a 04 yfz 450 with a full Yoshi pipe I bought it used and dealer said it had jet kit in it already but I don't think its the right jets cuz I almost have to change plugs every ride cuz I lose top end if its not jets what could cause this and if it is jets what size should I run... and what are the best bolt ons for power cuz I don't really have the money to build a motor any input is appreciated thanks

Need some more info... What do the plugs look like when you pull them out? Does the quad run right before the plugs screw up? Does the quad idle? Are you using the right plugs? CR8E? Did you buy the quad from a dealer or just take it there?

bought it there.. it runs perfect with a new plug.. idles good.. yes using cr8e.. plug is black when I pull em out

I didn't buy it new either I got it used and when I bought it it was blown up or starting to blow (didn't know at the time its my first racer) had it about 20 mins and I had to replace the piston and jug

could a new cdi box help by giving hotter spark?

First name the size of jets that your using at the moment.

I don't know I bought it used with the jet kit in it and they never said what size jets they are how difficult is it to take jets out to see what size
