I usually run 93. However up in Silver Lake I was mixing 110 and 93 so I would say about 100 octane for like 3 or 4 tanks. The higher octane gas smells good though! :lol

In the the owner's manual I read a section where it says to AVOID LEADED fuels! It talks about lead having a negative impact on various engine components!

I was very surprised to read it.
i know that. you shouldnt run leaded fuels in quads, period.

Almost every high octane gas has lead in it. My new piston will be a 13.5:1 so I will have to run straight VP Ultimate 4. This stuff is $8 a gallon, but it is the best money can buy.

I have been running Mobil 8000 which is 98 octane. Thats all I have ran, and that is all I will ever run. Works great!
