did you try and drain the float bowl because gas now days sucks and if it sits it looses its bang and the bike wont run. drain the float and see if that works. Before I get to the whole point of this thread i'll tell a little story.. :icon_biggrin:
Once upon a time in a land i've never been to filled with a buncha french speakin b-astards, they're we went, a buddy and I to pickup a motor for his 400ex because he'd recently blown his all to chit and was better off buying a used one than rebuilding his. Anyways, we picked one up for $1100 bucks, has cams, oversized valves, wiseco piston, 440 big bore kit, clutch kit, and mild head work. I took it for a test drive because my buddy whos buyin it knows jack about bikes. The dealership that has it will have everything setup monday and he's bringin it home to line me up. I pulled the yfz out of the garage just to start it up because quite frankly, i miss it lol. It won't click into gear and will only start in nutral, when i give it a shot in neutral it'll bog out when the revs get real high. Is they're stale gas in my carb and needs to be cleaned or what, any insight?[/b]
