Buying a new full system and I'm looking towards the DR.D or the FMF 4.1 with a mega bomb header. I mainly race Mx but i also do a worcs race or 2 a year. I looked at the pipe shootout and didnt see either of the pipes on there so kinda wondering what people thought who have used them.

I run a drd slip on and its been a good pipe so far. Its held up to some abuse. I am thinking about switching to a dasa or curtis sparks though.
SPARKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ITS THE BEST PIPE YOU WILL EVER BUY.
Thats just my .02.
between FMF and DRD - i say DRD. i had one.
i Have my DR.D shorty for sale!!!
im convering my bike 2 DRAG so BYE BYE MX pipe!!!! lol
i love that exhaust though PM if ur interested!!!
I've never used any other pipe beside the stocker system and my FMF Power Bomb Header/Mid-pipe and Titanium 4 silencer. Against two 07 SE's with full Yoshi's, cams modded and FCI intakes, I stay nose to nose with my machine NOT having an aftermarket intake (just the lid off with K&N filter), the cam's aren't modded, but I do have a Dyna FS cdi which I highly doubt would create that much power.

If Yoshi's are comparable to Dr.D pipes, I'd go with FMF.
u forgot 2 add in the rider factor dude!! lol
ive SPANKED!!!!! banshee's with ported head, hi-compresion pison, and full CPI's on my YFZ with the DR.D.
who u beat usually means that ur a better driver or that other factors like weight played into the scinario.
sparks and dr d are pretty loud IMO id go with FMF
of the two i would get drd.
Much better options out there. I can't suggest either.

I've had TERRIBLE luck with Dr.D as far a durability goes. Decent performance, however 4 (2 old style 2 new style) pipes in 3 months of dune riding (washed after each ride and repacked often) is a pretty fair testament to the w00terty quality of DR.D

I will say that the new style canister was a very good performer.
I'm running the Dr.D on mine and its done well so far. It IS one of the quieter pipes out there. The only complaint I have is my sticker on the silencer has came off oh well now I can say its a one off custom pipe that adds about 20hp lol
dude my dr.d was WAY quieter than my boys yoshi. thats wiered that the sticker fell of mine was riveted on there.....
Mine was too. I think i hit some water one day and it incenterated. Its not hurting anything so it doesnt matter
FYI the sticker isn't riveted on... Thats retarded.
.
The sticker is either on a plate which is riveted to the canister (old style) or stuck to the canister (new style). Either way keep an eye on your rivets and be careful jumping. I know the reason why i had problems was mostly due to subframe flex and running it WOT for too long (heat issue)...

damb bro sorry 4 not being so thorow in saying that it was on the plate rivited 2 the pipe. ive had mine for about 2 years and ive NEVER had a problem with it....
idk if u got a pair of bad ones but ur the 2st guy ive herd with problems with this exhaust.
FYI The sticker is placed on the plate and then is riveted onto the silencer so yeah it is technically riveted to the silencer.
