Yeah I do some lone (2 mile ish) 5th gear WOT runs at the rev limiter all the time.

What do you want? You can order a entire new engine from Yami but its going to cost a pretty penny no matter what you do. A good stock or modded engine can be picked up on eBay either new or used.

Go to your local dealer and fork over a ton of cash :icon_eek:

If you buy one from yamaha it will cost you an arm and a leg. I would recomend that you look for a used one either on here or on ebay, you will save a lot of money.

I take it your not going to siver lake then i wanted to see you hit test hill pinned in 5th but that sucks your bikes broke.

Not to be smart ass but why is it junk? So you blew the jug up,Tear it down and rebuild it. I just done a 400ex yes a honda that did the same thing cost about 1300.00 dollars. repaced every bearing in that thing,New crank,Piston kit, Head, Eveything. Then you can hop it up, If your case is good their ya go build on it.

I agree. Why fork out all of the money on a new or somewhat used engine when you can build yours for less? This way you can pick and choose your mods, beef up the engine a little and come out ahead with new parts and a modded engine. I highly doubt that everything is garbage in your motor.

Ya when i blow one up i get the tools out,Lets build some power sounds like fun,The money part sucks but hey you can build one heck of a motor for what yamaha will charge you for a new one. And you know what you have.

cause i found out that the bottom of my crankcase has a whole in it. Right were the two sides split

there is a whole right through the hole case.
