Crank Bearing Install

I'm trying to press in new crank bearing into the case and they are taking way more force than I thought it would take to get them fully seated. I Don't want to overload the case and crack it....have any of you installed crank bearing...any insight or tricks?

Thanks!
Jeff

Grease the outside of them and push them in. Make sure they go in straight. The fit is tight.
Yeah it takes quite a bit of force than you would think. Like sidewinder said use grease on the outside of them and heat the cases a bit to aid in installation. Also make sure that its started straight otherwise it will get wedged and stick.
sticking them in the freezer should help. if they're already started in, make sure theyre going in straight.
