I have looked at the pinned topic above but I still have a few questions. I plan on doing the cam mod over spring break, I was going to do it when I checked my valves but I wasnt sure I wanted to do it. From what I have heard it changes the way the power fells completely does it make it rev faster or what? Is anyone unhappy with the results of the mod? Also I have a 48 pilot in right now will this be fine or will I need to up it thanks

The cam mod is the best mod I have done to my quad.Its Free and the power is mid to topend When I did mine I had a 42Pilot and it was fine.

you DO want to do it. trust me. i never even rode mine w/o it. cam modded it right away. it does add a few hp all around.

this is bone stock, vs open airbox lid, exhaust uncork, and rejetted.

assuming that your quad is perfectly jetted now, you might have to richen it up a little for perfect results, but it will run fine if you dont. its not that big of a change in mixture.

1 of the BEST things you can do for the YFZ... Hands down.. And do not worry bout your pilot size, your carb will be just fine. ( Dont wait for spring break, it only takes about 10 mins ) :icon_biggrin:

haha well this coming week is spring break lol. If I dont have to richen my pilot do u think I should have to turn the mixture screw out some.

bro IDK but i didnt touch my jetting when i did it but ya its a definate "MUST DO" for this quad!!
u cant beat free HP!!!!!
i didnt feel it rev. quicker i just kinda felt the power earlyer if that makes any sence
