There was a post earlier this week, regarding moving the brake master cyl. reservoir (rear). Here's the post....

Thought that was a great idea, so this afternoon I did my own version of this mod.

Pic's

1- This is the bracket I fabbed out of 6061 aluminum.



2- This is where it got moved to, tucked into the chassis.
Left side of the bike, using one of the plastic mounts for
the anchor point.



3- This shows the hose routing. I used some european
brake fluid hose left over from my off road car. Routed it
down away from the shock and tied it off to the park
brake cable.


This is a great mod- I also agree, the stock location sux !

Looks like a great mod.

You should get a kit going of the bracket and hose and sell it. :D

Yah, guess so. I've already been contacted by PM, somebody here wants one. I'll do some up. If anyone is interested, listed below is what you get-if you want one. I'll probably make like 1/2 a dozen to start with. Will have to be done after work-in the evening's (it sux I have a real job). If you want one, payment by Paypal, Cashiers Check or Money Order.

1-6mm flat washer

Top
