Sounds to Me Like you have a bad batter, possibly a dead cell, or shorted cel. what year is it? It may have the charging problem. Do you drive it with the lights on or off?
Bad Battery, Starter, Or Something Else?
well my yfz450 sat for 5 months due to us just having a kid and no time to ride. well i got the battery charged and put it back in and it wouldnt start. id hear the clicking noise. jumped it off my jeep let it idle for a second, turned it off and it started back up. went riding today and it worked fine for a couple hours then it didnt want to start. it would turn over real slow then start clicking. but 30 minutes later it would start back up just fine. what could it be?

ordered a new battery today. hopefully thats all it is
