I just had my Durablue chromed by a friend of mine at a chroming place I used to work at. It is not decorative chrome though, it is for commercial use like cylinder/hydraulic shafts and things for heavy equipment. He polished it up and it looks pretty good. I can't complain though it was free.... It should be super durable though and never chip off.
oh jeez phillip lol

WD er' and she'll run like a dream!
hey mudd, can you post a pic? i was thinking of doing the chrome thing cause i can get it done professionally for free too =)

Here are a couple pics. Now keep in mind this is not the shiny chrome that people put on their wheels, or other accessories. This is a hard commercial chrome for high wear applications. If you have ever seen a hydraulic shaft on a piece of machinery, this is really similar/ same chrome. Now mine also has pits too, since it was pretty beat up before I had it done. When my friend stripped it down it was the best he could do, but they are so small you would never see them without getting down and looking at it. Best I could get since I just installed it the other day.

thats what i was thinking of wd4ing it up. anyone else? this is crazy though cause my bros 2003 warrior looks better!!!

i have seen plenty of machinary! i live on a small farm and live in the midwest lol!
Hit the rusty spot with a brillow pad lightly until the rust comes off and then a little wheel polish with a waxing agent in it and you should be fine.
thanks im going to try this. how often do you recomend doing this?

Thanks. The rotor is a stock 06, and the rims are turned inside out to give me the width I want.
