i added a jardine slip on and my brother in law thinks its lean because of the way it smells.

i also just got the adjustable ncvq needle is all i need to is change my needle and where it is set or do i need another pilot?

i am in illinois so i think we arent that high above sea lvl.

thanks for all the help again everyone

168 should be good. try 3rd spot on the needle, also where you located at in illinois? trying to find some more people to ride with.

shooting flames means too rich. What size do you have now?
168 main 45 pilot and i havent installed the ncvq needle yet.
i thoguth flames was too lean!
Sounds like you should be close to correct. I have a similar setup and I’m currently running and every time I have changed my plug is a nice caramel brown.

Pilot = 45
Main = 170
Needle = Middle slot
Fuel Screw = 1 ¾ to 2 turns out.

I think I have changed the fuel a little due to the temp here in Michigan. Hope you get it worked out.
