Well this is the direct replacement http://www.knfilters.com/search/product.aspx?Prod=YA-4504

If you want the different type, take the adapter off and take it wherever you get your filter and get one that fits the adapter

I have the modquad adapter with a k&n and the opening is about 4 1/2 inches like yours. Here is a link to the filter by itself from rockymountain and its 55 bucks for a new one. The filter you have in the picture looks just like mine. So I'm thinking this is what you need. The picture on rockymountain doesn't look exactly like the one you will get, I think it's just a generic picture. If you look at the picture of the whole kit it looks like the filter you have.
