If you want be safe, wear a helmet at all times. Walking in the woods even can be very dangerous!

Well, in the process of an mx race bike build. Not everythings here yet, plus never use the headlights so just took them off.
oh sweet deal, post some pics when you get some parts put on

indeed
haha seriously? you guys are weird. Didn't know I needed a helmet to ride around the yard for like a half hour. I'll take my chances.
no, its a rule, you are not supposed to post any pics of anyone ridding with out a helmet on these forums:)
haha we may be weird but all it takes is one little mistake like catching a rut or endoing a jump and wacking your head on a tree or rock to put you in a hospital bed for the rest of your life... its your life so live it how you like but it is a rule on this site... you have to have a helmet on in whatever pictures you post. nice bike btw...make me want one even more.

maybe this will change the way you look at it...

I was going to post the same thread.

It's always that one last go around before parking it that will get you too. My dad lost his best friend to a joy ride around the yard after they just put the bike back together. Helmet would have saved him.

just my 2 cents, but rules are rules
Thanks for the comment and advice. Let's be real here, I'm not an anti-safety extremist. We were just screwing around and you're all right, it only takes a tiny accident. But, since we weren't doing anything too serious and it was the first nice day in a while I decided to roll the dice. I usually ride gear head to toe but we weren't out long enough. Btw, the last picture is my dad, whom really doesn't care. I told him to take it up and down the driveway and he thought the stone pile was a good idea.

As for the can-am. He went through a lot of trouble to get that, and it was either that or an LTR450. Now we all know the LTR450 is a great bike but ultimately he liked the can-am. I rode it around a bit and it's a nice machine. The Yamaha is noticeably better handling, but what do you expect. He got it as a leftover and for a pretty good price.

lol, you told him to take it up the driveway, yet you stilll had a camera at the gravel pile... :strokin: :strokin:
Haha safety extremist... Good one...

Seriously get those pics down and never endorse those activities. You might be incapable of crashing but just by showing the existence on irresponsible riding promotes it to minds where it shouldn't exist.

Just grow up man... You should realize the risks far outweigh the benefits.
+1 ^ exactly what i would have said if i would have thought it.

K i'm all grown up now for you.

I agree with your points and I don't see how it makes me immature or incapable of crashing. Get a mod to delete it because I don't have the option and couldn't really care.

Joester.. you caught me. I couldn't possibly have been standing at the truck and zoomed in.
Its immature, and more importantly irresponsible to future generations, to even project the idea that riding without a helmet is fine.
