I just bought a 2017 450r se. Its completely stock, hardley been riden. Looking to possibly start woods racing. Whats the best of the big 3 that i can get the best bang for the buck?

I believe the most popular lineup is Fuel Customs Intake, Vortex ECU, and exhaust is more of a personal preference.

Personally, I just bought at 2023 YFZ and I’m going to be picking up a RP Race Intake, Vortex ECU, and a Monster Shorty Exhaust. It’s going to be around $1800 all together.

If you're going with the RP intake match it up with an RP shorty exhaust over the Monster. You wont regret it especially if you decide to add their larger throttle body.

DASA will offer the most bang for your dollar because they haven't raised their prices in several months. A lot of the other comparable exhaust systems are $620+ whereas you can find a DASA under 550$ easily. You can't go wrong with a Vortex ECU if throttle response and eliminating the bog is important to you. Fuel, RP, and VisionAir are all respectable intakes, but it's worth nothing several exhaust companies uses Fuel instead of creating their own.

I’d consider it but it doesn’t look like RP makes a spark arrestor whereas Monster does. I’m a weekend trail and dune rider so if the Monster makes a little less power than the RP I can live with it.

Rp makes a spark arrester / silencer that fits in all their exhaust versions with 1 bolt that locks it in place i just bought 1 and it helped quiet it down when i need it

The rp power pack is big 3 with exhaust header and a new larger throttle body with a manual idle control valve and custom mapping for the vortex its made a huge difference to my beast no more low spots or rough idle even a traction control mode I got the outlaw pipe in black it even looks mean

Yeah I saw that on their website. I wish it was separate because I don’t want the quiet core. With a Monster you can run a sparky by itself.

Hmf is a great exhaust too, under 600 shipped with the discount running on their website. Prettt happy with the decision. Had the fmf titantiun 4.1 which is now over a grand, and I actually like this system better
