I would like to narrow the rear on my YFZ450R to an acceptable XC width. Has anyone ever tried flipping the stock wheel hub and studs on the R, if so how many inches did you lose? How many inches would I lose if I changed to YFZ450 wheel hubs?

If I was you I would either swap out your hubs for X hubs, or get an X axle. Or you could go with a whole setup, meaning the X axle and hubs! I don't know how if the yfz450 hubs will fit though, no experience there, sorry!

1.75 inches saved for swapping rear hubs. I have banshee rear hubs. for front get offset wheels 4-1
