A tuner with a good map would help or a Vortex for sure would fix that.

I have a 2009 YFZ450. Has a new, full HMF exhaust on it. It starts up and idles like normal. But when I give it some gas at first it backfires a little. Then when I am riding it and try to open it up all the way it sputters and back fires a bit. Would it be possible I would just be looking at having to get a new tuner, or would it be something else

Once you confirm the exhaust isn't leaking a Vortex ECU will help with throttle response, eliminate flame outs, and decreases the bog significantly.I have a 2009 YFZ450.
