I have 3 sets of cams. Stock, stage 1 hc and stage 3s. I need to know where each these fall on the power curve and info mixing them. Ive done some research and im thinking of going with stafe 3 intake with stock exhaust retarded. I ride trails and drag sometimes. Coal pits with hill climbs also. I looking for a well rounded power curve. Just need some advice from people that know through experience nor just hear say info.

My mods: 05 yfz450
?13.5:1 JE piston (95mm)
?ported head w/3 angle valve job
?stock carb (wanting to bore to 42.5mm but heard that wad for more top end performance)
?FCI intake
?Full Barker exhaust

I just need to know a good set up till i can buy web cams. Any info would be awesome.

Id use stock 06 cams. From experience 06-08 are best. 04-05 second best and 09 and up worst.

There are already threads on where these cams put power.

Stage one top end.

Stage 3 suited best with big bore. More mid.

There is no posted info to my knowledge on mixing them. I am running stage 1 intake and stock exhaust modded. More top better low than stage 1 exhaust with this setup. But hard starts

Ok thank you. I read the ones about the hot cams but just wanted to see if anyone mixed. I guess ill get some web cams this spring and not worry about it. Till then ill run the stage 3 with stock modded
