ok i have a 04 yfz and i have no money for a resistor kit. is there anyother way to take the headlights off?
since there is a high beam, low beam, and ground wires going to headlights can u cut and wire all three together? or wire high and low together and ground the ground to frame? anything to make a complete circuit?
thanks lemme know if anything is possible.

If I took the headlights off, but kept the switch on. Would it work the same?
someone correct me if I'm wrong, but no that wouldn't work there would still be an open circuit and nothing would be drawing anything and there still wouldn't be any resistance
bigal90 you are correct. Even with the switch on the circuit is open. You would have to find the resistance of the headlight and wire a resistor into the circuit then it would be the same as having the headlights installed

i am sorry i read too fast, i though the original poster was talking about wiring all three together and grounding the curcuit.

there woulddn't be any resistance....... if you figure out what the resistance is of each head light and find risitors with the same OHM value, that would work to wire them in to the curcuit.
