Probably a dumb question but what is the hose for on the FCI intake tube that comes with it?

So I have researched a bunch on which map and settings to use on my vortex but I see a lot of mixed answers. Fci intake no box, and rossier full exhaust. Only ride the dunes so always around sea level. What is a good map and starting point?

Anyone know the difference other than looks on the rossier r4 and r5 exhaust systems?

So I’m going to call KB this week to put in my Big 3 order. Doing the FCI and vortex. Just stuck on which exhaust to get. Looking hard at Yoshi RS2, Rossier and barkers. Input guys?

Any input on why the dasa exhaust is not as good on the EFI yfz? And why the yoshi and barkers is the most recommended? Thanks!
