Yfm 350 raptor

Wouldn't idle unless the choke was on, so I re jetted the carburettor completely.
since doing that the bike will not idle at all not even with the choke on fully, the only way to keep it going is if you feather the throttle.
tried to adjust the idle screw on the carb which is attached to a cable coming off the carb (weird) but it has seized up. I will replace the idle screw but Im just wondering if theres anything else I am missing that the problem could potentially be ?

How old is the fuel? Was the carb clean?
