Best all around tire choice?

looking to buy new tires over winter so i can get back into woods riding. i def want a 6 ply tire but not sure which ones to go with. heard good things about the gncc and the kutters. but, i will prolly hit an occasional mx track and want to be able to slide. should i go with the previous mentioned tires or go with something like the razrs or something else? gonna be riding woods/trails, desert and some mx. whats your opinion on best all around tire? also, is it worth upgrading to a better from wheel or just run my stock ones? thanks!

razr 2's are the ultimate atv tire, but a bit pricey

I love my kutters, have done me very well in the woods and on mx tracks. I can slide when need be or hook and go. I can lay into and still spin, though for the most part they grab.

I'm not just saying that just because of the price they are a really good all around tire.

i dont care to much about price as long as im not paying double of something similar. plus, i wont be using them every weekend so they'll last quite awhile assuming they dont get punctured.

I have trail demons (same exact thing as razor ll) got them from super atv for around $50 a peice for the rear during xmas they have held up great but I have noticed they get holes easily but i ride with lots of thorn bushes. These tires have not worn at all and almost have a year on them. Great for the price

Hondas are red, Yamies are blue, and damn right I'm faster than YOU!!

it is, razr 2 to grippy to slide a lot. so we put them on the front for control.

I have the GNCC's and they are by far the hardest hooking tires I've ever ran. The one downside, is that when they are new, you can barely get them to slide. They wear like iron and are perfect for hillclimbing and trail riding. I couldn't give you any experience as to how they handle on the track. They are bit on the heavy side as well.

thats the common thing ive been reading, the gnccs are a great tire but hard to slide with. thinking the razrs are gonna be my best bet for an all around tire.
