Hey guys I have a 2008 yfz 450, only mods it has is exhaust(DASA) and air filter(CYT-R) with lid off. My question is what jets do I need and why does the exhaust pipe get glowing red?(heard I’m running lean)It currently has 45pilot and 190main. I Usually ride at 2,000ft elevation.

mine Initially was glowing red when I put on my exhaust, and like u said it’s cause it’s way too lean. I ended up contacting manufacturer of my exhaust and they gave me jetting specs and it was dialed after that 👍

As stated you are running lean, dont run it long or you'll do major damage. You can look at the exhaust for recommendations but thatll only get you so far. You fuel type , altitude, outside temp and humidity also matter.

JD Jett kit is a good start and got me going. I'd recommend getting a few main and pilot jets to have on hand. You definitely need to go up on your main 2 - 4 sizes.

Your the same elevation as me. 2000-2200ft. 45 pilot 1 and a half turns on the fuel screw. 170 main jet. yz needle on the third clip. It is normal for exhausts to glow all the way too the joint.
