2010 450x help needed!!!

okay so i have a 2010 yfz 450x and it has after market parts and what not but anyways when i turn the key no power will come on. the fuel pump wont turn on and nothing shows on the dash. i was just riding it two days ago and the engine light came on but now today it wont turn on. nothing. i have no idea what to do. the battery is brand new and i used an ohms meter and checked that there is power going to the efi controller but none to the key switch. someone please help!!! i even took off my teather and wired my kill switch right and nothing still.

you should be testing in volts to find current flowing. on my 2010 power goes from the battery then to the key then to the ecu then out to everything els. test your key and the switch on the handle bars both of mine went bad in ohm's.

everything is how it should be. but what do you mean? there is voltage to the fuses which are good. and to my efi controller. the battery has 95% life.

okay the way my quad works is when you turn the key the dash lights turn on and the fuel injector pump comes on. now it doesnt matter if its in neutral or not. the lights and pump will still come on. i think i might have a bad key switch.

I would check the red kill switch to see if it got switched off or is malfunctioning.

I have had a dirtbike guy move this switch on me before and it takes me far too long to figure out.
