Looking for ways
to better improve your racing skills? Or simply just to learn more about
your bike and its limits? Well, Innervision Industries has teamed up
with BlingStar and John Natalie Jr. to bring you tips and tricks straight
from the pro himself, John Natalie Jr!
As
many of you may already know, there simply aren't that many videos geared
towards quads, and the ones that are out there are aimed more at freestyle
rather than being an instructional guide. However, Innervision Industries
is looking to change that, and they've done just that. While teaming
up with John Natalie Jr, Innervision Industries brings to you Tips
& Tricks, a video that will greatly improve your riding, no
matter what skill level you are.
The
DVD based video covers all types of topics to help you learn the most.
We've taken one of the many suggestions that John Natalie Jr. gives
you and put it below as a "teaser"
Holeshots:
John Natalie Jr. suggests before your moto, watch other races and count
how many seconds pass once the card is dropped and the gates drop.
Cornering
And Passing: Stay on the gas before you get to a corner and then
slam on the brakes just enough to slow down to make the turn.
Jumps
And Whoops: Carry your speed while coming up to a jump, never blimp
the throttle before the jump. Carrying your speed will allow the bike
to stay level while in the air.
Terrain:
Slow
down a little early while racing on a hard packed track. These tracks
are very slippery!
Practice
Tips: If
possible, before your moto, try and follow the faster racers and watch
what they do and where they do it.
Pre-Race
Tips: Spray
some teflon spray onto the stator or any other electrical areas of the
bike. This will prevent water from getting in.
Race
Techniques: While
racing, stand most of the time. Allow your knee's to act as shock absorbers.
This lets the bike work and in return, doesn't beat your body up as
much.
Clutch
Techniques: Try and keep 2 fingers on the clutch at all times.
Attacking
Downhills: While
approaching the hill, upshift to a higher gear. Since you're going downhill,
you're goin to be picking up speed a lot faster. This then allows you
to keep within the powerband.
Before
And After A Race: Before
the race, pack everything the night before and put it inside the truck.
Obtaining
Sponsors: Maintain
a professional image on the track!
Exercise
And Diet: In
the off season, work out as much as you can. Bulk up so you can be able
to throw the bike around during the season.
Also
included in the DVD is a special features section. This section includes
a segment on setting up your bike with Dave Gibson, chiropractic care
with Mark Casteel, Outtakes, Company bios and a trailer for their newest
video, Carpe Diem!
If
you're looking to become a better rider, then look no further! No matter
what your skill level is, you'll learn something from this video. I
certainly did! Each segment is easily put together with very unique
camera angles that make you feel as if you're right there on the track.
So
what are you waiting for? Order yours today to become a better rider!
Don't forget to check out Carpe Diem as well. We can guarantee that
video is going to be insane!!!
