Greetings, I'd like to start off by saying thank you for the opportunity of QOTM on your site. Many thanks to your Forum members for the votes. YFZ Central has proven to be a great asset to the Yamaha YFZ450 owner and ATV enthusiast's across the country. Thank you for providing such a awesome site and resource to our sport. Late last October a member of our group @ Sand Wizards Racing purchased a YFZ450. Once we had a opportunity to ride this new machine I knew it was a matter of time and I was going to own our 1st 4 stroke sport quad. As avid duner's here in Oregon, we couldn't believe just how well this bike ripped on the dunes and trails. I was so impressed, one month later I sold my wife's Banshee (still own mine) to purchase this quad with the intentions of making only a few minor mods and color changes :). We set this bike up for sand as we ride mainly on the dunes here in Oregon. Once we completed the list of mods below, any previous memory of my wife's Banshee was long gone. This bike dominates in the sand and is a blast to ride. I can honestly say, with the HMF Ballance Series Exhaust, Air & Jet Mods, as well as our (+4) Mod Quad Swingarm, this bike is set up perfectly for the type of riding we do here on the Oregon dunes. We couldn't be any happier with this new machine and how it performs on the sand. (Please note: pictures posted are of the bike after swingarm mod with no chain) If you are out West and would like to hook up for a ride look us up at: www.sandwizards.com. In closing I would like to mention the following companies and say "Thank You" for making such awesome products for the ATV rider. Fullbore Innovations, Cascade Innovations, Mod Quad. Also, special thanks to: Sand Wizards Racing & Bay Area Yamaha of North Bend, Oregon. Here is our (SWR) GET-R-DONE list of Mods.
Cheers, SWRToad (Don) |
