Back in the day we had a mod for each section, that way the work load wasn't so much........
Hell I started out as a mod in the powertrain section..... since that is all I knew lol, and I never went into the lounge lol |

Also, maybe do something with upvoting posts or downvoting the useless ones. Obviously there would be limitations so one group didn't just hassle another person to make them look bad, but on the users page, show how many upvotes, how many down. Then use this number as a gauge for the for sale section, you have to be helpful to post parts, easy as that. Also, hide the very downvoted ones, can keep it family oriented and doesn't require a mod to catch it. Give the users a little power. Just an idea.

Also, Is it not possible to have a closed for sale section? A diesel site I am on has it and it is a good indication of what stuff sells for.
When the item is sold, the Seller has the power to put it in the Closed section so it is not mistaken for a current for sale ad. The forum automatically closes ads that are more than 30 or 60 days old to keep the for sale section cleaned up and prevents noobs from digging up a year old for sale thread. |

I don't know how expansive the software is for that, and if it would be possible to impliment it here. But I figured I'd throw the idea out there.
