YFZ Central will be cracking down on site rule violations. Starting now, spot audits with off-site advertising will be taking place. Please check your posts for advertising giving direct information for contacts. If you want to give out contact information, it is acceptable to send a member a PM. If you are found to be in violation, then you will be sanctioned. Please adhere to the rules, or find another site. I have notified some members of improper conduct via PM's, but there will be no more PM's from this point. Thank you, and enjoy the site!!

So no ebay links? I guess I just dont agree with the censorship on this site, but yfz central kind of has a monopoly. There really isn't anywhere else to go.

All I have to say WOW, to not allow members the ability to post even a #, I think this is excessive. I have been a member since 2005 and this is the worst thing I have seen, in regards to rules. just my opinion

From the rules:

No public off site advertising. We have vendors here who pay to advertise here. If members advertise for off site vendors then there will be no need for paying sponsors who keep this site paid for. This does not mean you can not name a company that is off site, what this means is no telephone numbers, emails, links etc. If you need to post contact info then pm the member needing the other help. This applies to threads/ posts/ replies/ signatures etc.

I think that pretty much sums it up.

The rules have been in place since 2003, when the site first was created. Not a new rule, just one that was not enforced. And since a few have now complained about off-site advertising, it forces a blanket enforcement across the board.

For the record, I wasn't dogging Venom I was merely using it as an example. I have a Venom ported head and don't have any complaints.

Great. I too have Venom heads, but I don't care who's head you got.... Venom is NOT a sponsor anymore.
