Default DASA vs. Rossier

Got rid of my HMF to get a new pipe. Rossier is based out of plover WI which is local for me and I've seen dyno sheets on it and it makes around 47 HP and I haven't seen any dyno sheets on the dasa but I'm pretty sure they make pretty solid HP as well. I want loads of bottom end for XC racing and just wondering what everyone thinks about these two or if they would pick a different exhaust all together. I know there are a bunch of threads about exhaust comparisons so if you're going to tell me to go look for other threads don't bother commenting because I've been looking. Thanks for any help!

In my opinion, I'd tell you to get a RTR Pipe. Rick Todd out of Bartow Florida, owner of RTR Performance Engines makes a custom pipe. He tested the designs with pros and many of his Racers use them. The pipe is better than dasa, and is tunable with the head pipe. The pipe holds up well, and is very rare to have one. His turn around time is great. Look him up on the internet. You wont be dissapointed!!!

And BTW, his riders usually win their motos (local tracks and national)

Fail. RTR= Ready to ride men.

No dyno sheets have ever been posted on that pipe so until then is trash, similar to the Hetric racing exhaust

On the R, the best pipe is the Yoshi, even better than the Dasa and Rossier.

But that would be the best for the R. Even Garret at fuel customs says its the best cause he has dyno'd many pipes for the R

Dasa and Rossier would be pretty even IMO, but it is nice to support a site sponsor and have the pipe manufacturer in your same area.

Everyones a critic, but it is a good pipe. Better than the sparks i had on my yfz. Ricks been building motors for 30+ years, I'd go with what he's doing over all the mass produced parts.

Rick doesn't try to promote himself. He lets riders do it. I dont have a dyno but i can tell from experience that its a good pipe. He actually just built a buddy of mines r with a port job and other stuff with a custom pipe. ill see if i can find a picture of it.

a kid that i know has the yosh system, and it is nice.... but honestly i the FMF 4.1 gives alot of bottom end i was shocked at how much more ass my wheeler gained from it. Definatly wasnt my first choice in pipes but so far i am super impressed. Although they have always had a good name.

plus it looks sexy as hell with the megabomb header!

Considering the Rossier is less than 400.00 it's the better deal when compared against the more expensive DASA. Idjbuff don't forget about Barker they develop a lot of power throughout the entire curve.

Please don't assume all FMF exhaust are bad just because they mass produce.

I couldn't be happier with my DASA, revs out great and sounds amazing! Get compliments on the pipe everywhere I go.

I had the parts counter boy at a dealership say the same thing to me last weekend as I was shopping for a pipe for mine.
I was inquiring about a Yoshi RS2 and DASA. He said in his 8 years of working in parts he "had never heard of DASA and if he hadn't heard of them then they must be crap"
I LOL'd and went to another dealership to place my order

My Dasa fits great, sounds great and looks great. No complaints with the Dasa. The Rossier in my opinion sticks way out past the rear fender and looks goofy. Again, thats just my opinion.
