Without putting it on an actual dyno, you will have to rely on your butt to see the changes. You can get it close, but it wont be exact.
Take a look in the msd settings thread, theres some timing advance and fuel screenshots for a dasa. I had a Terry Design pipe which is very similar to a Dasa and I used shield's map and timing settings with a few minor adjustments and it worked excellent for me.
Nothing beats spending a couple hours on a dyno and properly tuning it though.

Default DASA advance

I have a full DASA with K&N at about 1100 feet. I checked the advance on my map. on my MSD view it is tabularized on a chart with MAP PSIA on the left hand scale and it says "engine RPM" across the top but with no values. The MAP PSIA up the left hand side ranges from 1.5 to 14.5. (ten rows), the first three rows of MAP PSIA are 1.5 then 2.9 then 4.4. I have all fives in the table except the first two rows and first two columns.
I hope that helps. If you need more info let me know.
Oh, the map I am running works perfectly with no problems. I tried to paste the map here but it didn't work. If you send me your email I can send it to you. I'll PM you my email since I don't log onto this site very often.
