The DEI wrap instructions say to soak the wrap. I soaked mine then wrapped. Put on ties to make it stay then let it dry for a couple of days. After it was all dried I used the DEI high temp silicon spray. Seems to be holding up good after a couple of washes.

Supposedly wrapping the stock header causes it to warp because it is not titanium. It is recommended to only wrap after market titanium headers etc. I was going to do this as well, especially because it hides the fact that I have a slip-on. DEI told me that over time the stock header can wear to the point that it gets holes....just sharing...I like the look though.

I used hose clamps I bought from Lowes, DEI came with 8 wire clamps, but I didn't like them, couldn't get them tight enough.

Yes stainless steel, there cheap, couple bucks a piece, I put one on each end, and then one in the middle where the midpipe and header connect, check my photo's you should be able to see them, then I sprayed the whole thing down with the silicone spray that the kit came with, works great, holds heat in, and has held up great, hope this helps
