I asked the guys at yoshimura and they told me the only difference is weight and the Ti comes with a 99db insert while the stainless has the 96db. Just go wiith the stainless not worth the extra $300 for the Ti. I guess out of the box the Ti might make more power with the less restrictive insert, but you can run without an insert or just buy the 99db one if you wanted for like $25.

Yeah the weight difference between the two is more than likely not enough to justify the $300 difference.

The Titanium exhaust comes with a 99db insert installed in the pipe. The stainless comes with a quieter 96db insert that also has a spark arrestor in it. The Titanium might make a little more power because it has a less restrictive insert when you buy it. These inserts can be changed and they are only about $25.

Just weight. Have the Stainless here:

Yoshimura RS-2 Stainless/Aluminum Full System Yamaha YFZ 450-Immortal ATV

comes with spark arrestor and quiet core.

Dam thats a good price. Make sure if you get it from there you order the right one though that link is for a YFZ not a YFZR like the OP has.

Umm...search the forum, the Yoshimura RS-2 has been proven to be one of the best exhausts for the YFZR/X. It also happens to be one of the quietest and best constructed systems, too.

Ya search the forums so you can see how the Yosh is better than all the top exhausts while being quieter. Good idea lol

Ive had the FMF, HMF, JSR megacore, Rossier, sparks, and now my Yosh. I'd have to say im glad after them all I have the Yosh now. Its a really well built exhaust, probably the best out of them all, and its nice that its not crazy loud either. Another thing I like about it is the double heat shields. One up front like most pipes have but also one in the back where your boots usually get burnt through the spot by the rear fenders. Theres been dynos from different people showing the Yosh outperforming most the top pipes.

I've got the Yoshi RS-2 and I love it! Even though it's a bit quieter than some other brands out there, don't let that fool you. It still sounds amazing!! Louder than I thought it would be with the spark arrestor and 96db insert in. Only negative I came across so far was that it was a very tight fitment and took a little longer to install than I had hoped.
