I have a set of single beadlock fronts and on one of them a beadlock nut pulled through after changing tires. Any warranty on that?

I hope so cause it wont seal off with that one bolt missing. Its like it seized to the nut and when i turned it the whole thing turned inside the wheel and i thought it was loosening but i knew i been turning an awful long time and then i saw it had came through the wheel.

it would depend on the damage... if you stripped the threads.... its your fault... it wouldnt be covered under warranty....

but youll need to contact hiper and show them the problem

The threads didn't strip it was seized to the nut and spun the nut inside the wheel until it pulled through.

what do you mean siezed?? sounds to me like the bolt had been crossthreaded when installed.... if so, it would get real tight, and it would pull the nut loose... that would make sense to me.... either way, it was install error if it was cross threaded

I'm assuming that he means seized as in corroded...... could be wrong though.

This happened to a buddy of mine (no, he did not install incorrectly), but he ended up having to buy a new half because the Hiper's he bought were used.

i find it hard to believe.... i ran a set of hipers for a full year trail riding... it would sit muddy for weeks at a time.... when i dismounted tires, the bolts all came right out.... i really have a hard time believing that it rusted in there.

again, you need to contact hiper about any possible warranty.... when your on the phone with them... they will be able to give you pricing on a replacment half as well.

You find it hard to believe, yet stranger things have happened.... things corrode over time and theres no explanation why it seized but it did and it wasn't cross threaded. I cut the head off to get the ring off and took 2 pairs of vice grip and some tri flo with teflon and got the remainder of the bolt out and the threads were fine on the bolt and inside the nut.

i belive new halfs are about 55 bucks, at least thats what the inner half of my front cost when i cracked it, and the outer half of my rear cost when the nut pulled out just like yours.

I had one do this as well, i think all the water and mud gets in there over time. I always use a torque wrench as well. No i started using anti-sieze compound to keep it from happening again.
