Yeah, this is a common thing. and using anti-seize compund wil really help. Hiper is actually really good about taking care of issues like this. Actually when i bought my last set, i was told they had a 1 year no questions asked warranty. no questions asked, literally. i broke a bolt of in one of mine, hey sent me the replacement before i sent them my half, so i could ride until i got it.

I broke the inside half of my wheel in 3 places, on both rear wheels. with 7 pounds in each wheel..

My wheels were 3 months over the warrenty period, but I did convince them to replace both halves for me.

Just give them a call and talk to them, they may help you out

i have had SEVERAL sets of Hipers and its happened several times. ALWAYS USE ANTISEIZE compound on the bolts, i put lots on and dont have many problems anymore.

glad someone had better luck than me. I moved about this time last yr, ordered some blue front rings, they got shipped to my old address on file, end of story, i paid for 2 sets of rings, never again will i buy anything from hiper. i personally think you are better off going with a strong aluminum wheel. i like the looks of hipers, but way overpriced. just my opinion though.
