I got some Fox Evols. One of the shocks has a rebound screw that won't screw in all the way. Any ideas what could cause that? What is the standard price for an Evol rebuild? Thanks.

-Looks like we may have to get into it a little farther than the regular maintenance, you are looking at $60.00+parts&shipping, should only take a few days to turn around since we would probly have to order a part or two.

-Just let us know!!

I just bought some Elkas from a guy and he had them set up for a 170lb rider I way about 240, do I need to get them re-valved and new springs? If so how much will it run me to get this done?

Yes, for that much of a change you will have to at least change the springs. If you don't know the history on the the shocks, I would get them serviced as well. That way YOU know when they were last done.

-The service and re-valve will run you $60.00 per shock, it includes labor, shock oil, and nitrogen charge. The Elka seal head kits are $34.99 each (you need 2). The springs will be $49.99 each (you should only need the 2 mains).

-Total would be $290.00+shipping

-we would need them for a few days, as we would have to order the springs.

Just give us a call!!

I have a set of PEP LT shocks and am looking to switch my a-arms from Houser +2.5 to Houser +.5. Would this fall under your normal re-valving costs?

That's gonna be a pretty big change, probably needing to replace all the springs and fully re-valving the shocks. That will be $65.00 per shock plus parts (Springs, crossovers, valve stack, seals)

I sent Sam an email but I figured I would post it on here.

I bought my shocks new from fox supposedly valved for my weight. Certainly doesnt seem that way but i dont know alot about shocks. But after this weekends race Dee over at rage atv told me I def need my fronts revalved.

So how much to revalve my front fox evols x's and respring and revalve my rear fox podium x?

They do not need to be serviced yet just revalved and resprung.

Also What would be the turn around time.

Thanks, Chance
