I called Baldwin motorsports the other day, dont remember who I talked to but he said that quad tech was selling all their in ventory at that buy one get one free deal because they are discontinuing their carbon fiber line. He also said that carbon fiber has hit an all time high. Meaning it costs more than what the item is really worth making. Maybe a few years from now when everything starts getting cheap again they'll start making them again. Time will tell.
