Lots of discussion on the net about wrapping pipes both pro & con.

Will it increase an power? No.
If no hp increase, why do people still do it? To keep from burning your leg.
Will it mess up your pipe? Only if you don't run it after washing to dry it out. Even then a bit of elbow grease and emerycloth cleans stainless/titanium pipes back to new.
Will it cause the pipe to fail, (crack/break)? Only if you don't keep tight, even overlap wraps during install. Wetting the wrap helps this process. And you're not tuned to lean.

I agree to use hose clamps rather than the SS tie wraps. They stay better.

I wrapped from front to rear. The idea being while moving forward you have less tendancy to work dirt and crap under the edges of the wrap. Its also easier to wrap the step ups on the pipe. I added the guard to keep from rubbing the wrap.
