Default Oil upgrade kit for 501 cc motors. We now can do it

I have got enought parts and pieces around here to get some good R&D in on the long stroke with big bore top ends. I have a CP piston on a 4 mill crank and it is known for taking out the oil squirt nozzles because of the X bracing around the piston pin. I will be useing the early 04 brass nozzle instead of the aluminum yamaha one to do the trick. I don't see why to up the price so it will be at no extra charge. If you are to send one in for the upgrade and you have a long stroke crank you will **HAVE** to let me know so it gets done right the first time. I can not use the brass nozzle after the case has been machined for the aluminum Yamaha nozzle.

ALSO AS A SIDE NOTE: The the CYLINDER WORKS big bore kit with a VERTEX PISTON and HOT RODS 4 mill crank taht makes 501 cc will work with out any modification!!!!!

I will bring this post to the top of the page a few time so readers and owners will know the answer to this long awaited problem. I think it should be a "sticky" at the top of the page. For those who don't know this or did this, it was or could be a expensive lessoned learned!

Will this work if the stroke is standard? This could occur if someone planned to do a higher stroke later on, but had a standard stroke at the time.

Hi.

This is designed for a stock set up as Yamaha is the one who designed it. Yamaha started upgrading the oil system in the start of 2007. there is no late model 06's that were done from Yamaha as I am asked and told by customers all the time. The problems start when the owner installs a 4 mill crank or a small stroke with the combiation with any style CP brand piston. Cylinder works built the 501 kit around the spot were the nozzle is, so it will bolt on and run. Not sure right now if I would use that kit from all the stuff wrote about the kit latley here. I have a nozzle I will be useing for customer that request for the long stroke and CP pistons.
