Buyer Beware.
Yfzcentral.com and/or ATV.com is NOT responsible for any content posted here. Any and all transactions made in the Marketplace is considered private and therefore absolves Yfzcentral.com and/or ATV.com of any implications regarding disputes or otherwise. It is solely the Administrator's discretion to get involved in a dispute if requested by the plaintiff. Sellers: #1. Be accurate in your description. ALL threads in the For Sale section must include at least one accurate picture of good quality of each of the the item(s) for sale or trade. Do not use pictures that are not a representation of what you are selling. (ie selling front shocks but your picture also shows a rear...) In this day and age of computers and cell phones, there's practically no excuse for not having an up-to-date picture accompanying your post. #2. Pricing. Not everyone should "know" what something is worth, so please no "make me an offer" threads. Giving a price and including OBO (or best offer) is acceptable however. Post Your Price, NO Auction Type Sales! No 'Best Offer' Sales! - Running your sale like an auction is not acceptable in the Marketplace. We find this to be a highly dishonest form of selling. There is nothing stopping the seller from telling one member he/she got a higher offer through Private Messaging or Email, when they really didn't. So in short, you must list sale prices in your sale post! No further explanation needed. #3. Location and Shipping. Please mention where the item is located, where you're willing to ship to, and what method of shipping. If shipping costs are not included in the item's price, please make every reasonable effort to provide a shipping cost estimate. It is however also acceptable to ask interested persons to PM the seller for any additional shipping information. (i.e. $25 flatrate UPS within Continental USA. PM me for shipping info anwhere else (Canada, Europe, etc.)) #4. Payment methods. Please post what method(s) of payment you accept. #5. Finalizing your sale. Once your item is sold, you may close your thread to prevent any new posts being made. If you are selling multiple items, please be aware that due to forum limitations, you can edit your first post up to a maximum of 30 days. After that, any edits you require will need to be made by a moderator or admin. If this happens, please post a reply to your sale thread reflecting the changes you wish to make to the original, and report the post, citing "please change first post" as the reason. #6. Feedback. Please leave feedback regarding the buyer here. Seller/Buyer/Dealer Feedback - Yamaha YFZ450 Forum : YFZ450, YFZ450R, YFZ450X Forums Buyers/Browsers: #1. Buyer Beware, as above. You assume ALL risk when conducting a transaction here. Yfzcentral.com and/or ATV.com is not liable whatsoever for any claims you make against a seller for a faulty purchase. Do your research regarding the seller and determine for yourself if you wish to proceed with the transaction. #2. Don't reply in a thread that you have NO INTEREST in. This just clutters up the thread and is generally annoying. Please do not criticize a seller's item because they're asking too high a price or whatever. It isn't your sale thread. However, if you feel that a seller should lower his/her asking price, you can message them privately. Doing so in public is bad etiquette and you risk being warned/infracted. #3. Feedback. Please leave feedback for the seller here: Seller/Buyer/Dealer Feedback - Yamaha YFZ450 Forum : YFZ450, YFZ450R, YFZ450X Forums Ideally it is best to leave feedback AFTER you have received your item(s). DISPUTES: All disputes are at first to be handled out of the public eye. If a resolution cannot be made privately, then the offended party is welcome to bring their dispute to the feedback section. Please provide evidence to back up your claim that the seller was not honest with his items, description, sale terms, identity, or any combination thereof. It is solely the Administrator's discretion to get involved in a dispute. Please attempt to make your case should you request Staff involvement in a dispute. Asking for a seller to be banned because the fender he sold you has a scratch on it that he neglected to mention is an unreasonable request and would likely be ignored. Furthermore, we are aware that members here on yfzcentral.com are members on other ATV forums, and that a seller may possibly have created an identical "for sale" thread on another forum to increase exposure. It is the seller's responsibility to do their best to reflect their items' status here. Any disputes arising from a transaction shall be only judged from their advertisement here on yfzcentral.com. Disputes on other sites shall remain there only. Any threads created here regarding negative feedback on a seller or buyer from another site shall be deleted and the creator infracted. Yfzcentral.com Staff reserve the right to alter and/or delete any provisions to Marketplace Rules without notice. |
