I noticed the other day that the bars are starting to feel really low and I started looking into bar risers. Needless to say, my blood pressure just about doubled when I saw the price tags on them. Thats just when I ran out and checked the clamps and had a flashback on the good ole Blaster days. I remembered that we always used to have a good DIY way of raising the bars. So I dug around for the thread and found it finally. Now keep in mind this is shown on a Blaster but the mounting is essentially the same. They all use the same type of clamps. So here's the pics. First, get an extra pair of the stock aluminum mounts that originally clamped down on the top of the bars.
![]() Next, take your bars off and get longer bolts with the same threading. Then mount the extra mounts UNDER the bars and the other set on TOP of the bars. ![]() Run the bolts through, tighten 'er up, and see how it feels. It should rise the bars roughly 1" without sacrificing any strength. You know have some dirt cheap bar risers that improve the feel of the wheeler and you saved yourself $200+. Big thanks goes out to BlasterFreek30 for coming up with the idea in the first place. Hope this helps you guys and helps you save some money!

This is my biggest problem right now! I need my handle bars taller but dont wanna spend 200+ on a longer steering stem! My only question though is will the TUST/POWERMADD work with pro taper handle bars and clamp? If so, what length/size bolts will I need?
