I got one of these kits in a while ago to do some testing on. The older style I actually tested came with an ASV lever instead of an ARC. I think there was some difficulty between the two manufacturers so Streamline decided to swap and put the ARC on all of their new kits. The ARC is an unbreakable style as well. Really the only difference I can tell between the quality of the levers is the ASV is shiny and the ARC is a matte black.

I was real excited to hopefully find a solution to the troublesome YFZ450 OEM clutch lever setup on my mx bike (yamaha uses the same style setup on the Raptor as well)

Streamline claims that the clutch will reduce the pull and arm pump by 30%. From my findings this is a very honest claim. With the streamline setup installed the clutch pull is drastically reduced. I really hate how on oem clutches you have to pull the lever all the way to the grip to get it to disengage. NOT ANYMORE!

The kit really is great for trail riders, mx setup, and im sure it will be great for drag as well. You can expect less hand cramping, short clutch pull, easier clutch pull, and a sweet unbreakable lever after install. For drag racers the shorter clutch pull will equal faster shifts.

The install on the unit was cake. It literally only takes 3 bolts to get it on. The most time consuming part is bleeding the new line. Everything fit perfectly.

Here are some pictures of the current kits. Price retails about $220. I have them on promo for $199

Just delete it, you don't need it anyway. Check the cleaning up the bars thread in the top of the tricks sec. I think.

can confirm that these kits will only work well on the stock clutch arm, i tried it with the pep one and it make the pull harder, when fitted with the stock arm you can tell it does have sell pull, but feels the same as my previous setup, stock lever and pep arm

I also fried 3 clutches using this system With fluids full and spending a LOT of time adjusting it, my stupid clutch just wouldn't engage/disengage all the way. Maybe something was wrong with mine but I took it off and got rekluse instead.

Hey I just bouht one of these today for my 09 450r and I threaded everything in on the brass(or whatever color you want to call it) and it's to short for my clutch at the motor. I push that spring all the way forward and I can bolt it on then. Does anyone know what I need to do. Maybe I am just doing it wrong. It's really pissing me off because I have ordered a couple cables for my clutch and I have had bad luck lately with cables, thats why I switched over to the hydro. The dirrections I got for it weren't of any help. I tried to look on their website and nothing pulls up. Can anyone help me. Pictures would be nice. Thanks

Default yfz450R 2009 brake setup with all factor switches

so I just bought this kit and spent some time and research on figuring things out. I came to this... I installed the hydro clutch and everything works great. However, I wasn't able to run the factory switch. I got on trailtech.net and looked at ordering up a switch. I am heading the dunes though this weekend so don't have time to wait. Any ways I went to the local shop and bought me some bars that are about 2 inches bigger. (They are also taller and I love them) I have big hands so I have the clutch lever a ways away. I also had to move the lights up a little so the adjustment screw doesn't hit the switch. Next thing everyone is worndering about is how do you use the cable brake. (explained below)

Is what I did to install the cable brake was I took the actual lever off and strip everything off of it. I put the mettle peace in a vice and grabed a saw and sawed as close as I could to it. I then filed down all the rouch edges. All you need is the bracket so you can mount it. I put the mount in between the switches and clutch. Worked like a charm.

here is the finish project. I think my quad looks sick now. I was happy to get rid of the bars and go with some black ones. I also like how high they are.. It will be awesome for the dunes and the track. The sensor that goes in the factor clutch lever I did away with. I just zip tied it to the other wires up front for right now. I am going to see where it goes and just get ride of it. Everyone says that it's a N light but mine work and that sensor is zip tied up. I'm not sure what that sensor does.
