I'm a big advocate for safety gear, I wear all my gear when I ride every time.
So someone posted a link to this neck brace on a different forum.
I looked into it, read a bunch of reviews and eventually ordered one.
I like it, is a bit of a pain to initially set up, but once done it's prefect.
I just ordered one for my nephew. They make kids sizes add well.
Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.com/itm/142024114735
I believe I made an offer of 75 and got it.
Takes a bit to get used to, but once you do, your fine.
Imagine swinging a hammer around, then try and stop it abruptly. It's hard there's a lot of momentum. Same deal with your helmet. When you go crashing, your helmet is a big weight. So it'll pick up some momentum.
So please consider wearing one.
I have zero association with this company, I don't care what you do. But just think safe and ride safe. It's always nice to go home at the end of the day to relax. Hospitals are no fun.
DO NOT WEAR A NECK ROLL
