Sweet.

I've thought about getting ride of my 1st generation and getting a new set.

Has anyone ever changed the oil in yours. It feels like my current stabilizer isn't as strong as it used to be and he (the builder) said the oil probably needs to be changed.

If it isn't too difficult I'd like to do it myself.

I hope they are better than a stick style stabilizer, I just ordered one.

From what I've read they are much better than a stick style. Not to mention that stick style stabilizers look like shit. When I got my ccp II, I was kinda surprised on how little it was. I thought it would be a little bigger.

I received mine today, it only took me 10 minutes to install it, and I took my time!
The quality seems top notch, I hope it performs just as good.

Anyone have any direct experience with the CCP gen II and the Precision dampers? Just curious how the new CCP performs versus the more expensive options...

I had the first generation CCP and honestly don't really notice much of a difference if any compared to my precision.

My wife has the Precision and I now have the CCP...she loves the Precision and I must agree with her that it's a great product that must be recommended as one of the first upgrades! I have not had a chance to ride with the CCP yet, although like others have said the install is very simple and performing adjustments is also straight forward. Just need some good weather so I can go out and get it dirty!

I just ordered one from James last night after the ebay auction was over. He responded to my message at 11pm and sent me a shipping email at 8am. Bad ass service. I got mine for 239 shipped. I think I'm destined to beat your prices by 10 dollars on everything. Let me know next time you buy something so I can get a 10$ discount.

Went out to Glamis this past weekend and boy was it busy. The dunes were super choppy and my CCP II made riding so much easier. Highly recommended.

I bought the CCP gen II stabilizer for my X and I bought it for the buy it now price of $249 just so I didnt have to wait for the bids to end. It was shipped a day or two later and I recieved it the day that ebay predicted that it would come. When I opened the box, I was supprised to see how well built that it was. It was what I expected to see if I ordered a Precision. I installed it in prob 15 minutes but I take my time when I work on things and I triple check every bolt. I have not really rode with it yet except around the driveway and thats nothing like XC racing. I hope its as good as everyone says on all the forums Ive read. It sure looks well built
