Default FCI question

Hey guys, first off I hope everyone had a great holiday. I've been saving up some extra $ to do the big 3 on my quad and was wondering which FCI to get, the one with the box or without and how much of a difference in performance there really is.

On the dyno I tried out the FCI with and without the box. With the box it made .5 less horse. If you ride through mud/water, then go with the box. I run without my box, but I also avoid mud and water.
