Unless something has recently changed Ti Yoshimura is on top of their game when it comes to the YFZ450R/X followed by Barker. In a way I regret selling the Yoshimura because the Barker i'm running now is too loud for night riding. Don't get me wrong I love the Barker exhaust just wish it was quiet like the Yoshimura in certain situations.

I might be selling my black Barker shortly as I have a used Yoshi system arriving tomorrow. Won't know till we dyno the pipes back to back next week. Kenneth is right, the Barker is loud and that's why I'm considering the switch. I'm hoping the Yoshi is close in performance to the Barker, we'll see. Even if it's a little less on top and the same off the bottom into the midrange, I'd be happy.

Ti or SS yosh? the TI comes with the 99db insert while the SS comes with the 96db, are you going to try the yosh with and without the insert when you dyno it?

Just the RS-2. Probably just Dyno with the insert removed as there's no DB limit at our dunes, but we'll see. Also installing a 480 kit with a CP 12.5:1 piston and will dyno both pipes after the build

They make a Titanium RS2 and a stainless one. Alot of guys have had really good results with the titanium one but I can't find whether or not it actually differs from the SS performance wise other than one has a 99db insert and the other 96db stock. Its going to be nice to see it compared with that barker which seems to be one of the top or maybe the top pipe right now.

Yeah, I'm real curious to see how the Yoshi stacks up to the Barker. I installed the Yoshi tonight and it's noticeably quieter than the Barker. I sure like the looks of the Barker much more.
Be dropping by my builder tomorrow and dont know if we'll have time to do a few runs. If not, sometime next week and I'll post the results.

Quieter with the insert pulled or with it in? I never ran mine with the insert in but with it out its actually pretty loud. My rossier though i would say is still louder. Im thinking of trying to grab a 99db insert for it like the ti version and a few other pipes have. One thing i like about it is it seems very well built compared to most pipes ive run.

Quieter with the insert out. Yes, the construction of the pipe is great and was extremely simple to install.

When my quad was a 450 the Barker was stronger on top than the Yoshi on the Dyno. However, my builder didn't want to spend the time and right a program for the Yoshi as we were tearing it down for the 480 kit. It did want more fuel so there were gains to be made.
