Default 06' carb issues

I just bought an 06 yfz450, sometimes when i get it running, it will start to idle high and stick there, the choke is not out or anything like that, so i let out the clutch a little and it will idle back down, but after a little running around it will do it again...dont know what it is?

Also when i punch it the first 0-1/4 throttle will bog down and it wont go anywhere, i have to ease into the throttle, not sure what jets or anything are on it, but i think it might be the pilot jet, if anyone can help that would be great. It has a hmf slip on exhaust and no air filter cover, the previous owner said he redid the motor too, new piston and cyliner wall and all that. I want this quad to run good, but it hasnt been and it keeps dying on me and taking a while to start back up! Please HELP!

you need to clean your carbs, take out the jets clean them real good

and you need to do the zip tie mod to your carb so it can eliminate that bog

did you clean the carb slide with brake parts cleaner? if you are going to clean the carb use only gas, anything else can damage the coating on the slide. you need to do the zip tie mod maybe change the leak jets and actually do some jetting work and adjust the idle

^^^ the up high idling problem is from the little air fuel mixture needle you adjust with your fingers. adjust that screw till you achive the highest rpm and then lower your idle speed to a desired level and bamm problem should be fixed. after i got the R&D power pump i have no more bog on mine, i could peg the throttle fast and will rev up fine. chenge leak jet settings, but make sure your pilot and main are adjusted correctly beore touching the leakjet

Well it looks like i cant even mess with the carb right now, i went riding today and about 20 min into the ride, my motor just shut down and i skidded to a stop, looked down and oil had sprayed out on by boots , it appeared to be coming from the lower gasket on the motor, but im not quite sure, when i first got the quad i changed the oil and it looked like it had coolant in it, i was kind of nervous about it but i figured after one ride i would check it again. The guy i bought it from said that he had previously shot the piston through the cylinder wall and had it all professionally replaced and fixed, pretty sure that was a lie. But now even when i try and move the bike, the back tires are still locked up and holding in the cluch wont do anything. If anyone has any clue as to what this might be i can provide more details or pictures, any help would be appreciated!
