Default gas tank leak

im new to the four wheeler scene and just bought a 04 yfz450 acouple days ago and i went to fill up my gas tank today and i filled it up to the cap. then noticed fuel leaking out from behind my plastic from top corner of the tank.. Is there vents in the gas tank for overflow? could there be a hole in the top corner of my tank? gas leaked all over my radiator and motor pretty much everything below the gas tank....i let it sit outside and its done leaking now but i dont know what i should do about the gas that got all over everything will it be ok to just fire up after its all dry or what? thanks for any help

I guess it could but idk how it would of ran up the hose and quite a bit of gas leaked out. Do you fill your gas tank all the way up? Or how do you know when it is full?

I found the leak it's from small pen sized holes in the top of the tank whoever put the aftermarket hood on my bike used too long of screws and I'm guessing from riding it rubbed holes in the tank.

Is there anyway of sealing them or should I just go buy a new one?
