Default hello,

every 3-5 hours of riding on my yfz450r I need to add some oil engine and also I have a little smoke whan I hit the gas while i'm riding.
some mechanic told me to buy new rings.
what do you think?
If I really need to buy new rings what to buy? oem(original) rings? or wiseco or even I need replace more parts not only rings ?
where to buy?

Either rings or valve guids are worn most likely. Need to buy rings from the company that made the piston. My guess is it is the rings tha you need to replace.

If you are going to the trouble of replacing rings you should really consider new piston and cam chain. Cheap insurance while you have it open.
