Default 2 piece nerfs or full?

What have you guys had better luck with? If I do full nerfs I have it narrowed down to Houser Pro Bounce, Pro Armor Revolution, or maybe some PC'ed PRMs. Am I better off with a nerf bar/ heel guard separate setup rather than the full setup? I figure that way I can replace components a little easier?? I'd like netted heel guards and I know this narrows down my choices a bit but any input would be helpful. I just can't decide what to order. To further complicate my search, they also have to fit with my PRM .190" frame skid plate.

I figured the peg solidified everything but I can see your point.

You'd take those over the Housers?

Well then, he might be biased. I think I'm going to go with my gut and get the Housers. I don't see anything I like better. I'd like to get the Pro Armor Revos to save a few bucks but I don't want to deal with the fitment issues. It's my 27th birthday in a week and I thought this would be a nice present for myself :)

I dont like the houser because the peg sits higher and for a taller guy like me i feel like im way up over the bike rather than sitting down low and comfortable. The raths have a 1"in lower peg mounting than all the other nerf bar companies. I have ran alot of different combos and its not just because iam sponsored but they just came out with the signature series and they now make a kick start setup that is made for kick start bikes. I have used the competition series 2 piece rath nerf bars and i did not like them at all. The best nerf/heel guard 1 piece combo ive ever ran was DG national netted series that the kawasaki atv team ran back a few years ago. I loved the DG's but being at $400ish price tag and the discount i get with rath it was worth trying the signature series. Its all personal preference but houser sit up too tall because of the peg bounce ball.

Hmm.. yeah I've heard mixed reviews about the tall pegs on the Housers. I'm 5'11" so it may not be a huge issue for me. I do like the looks of the Raths though. The majority of my riding is long days on the trails of Wisconsin and I was hoping the Bounces would be less fatiguing and make me less stiff the next day.

Rath makes good stuff but if you are not a sponsored rider you kind of get put on the back burner

just wish they could produce more products and get them to distributors...they need to have in stock stuff ready to go

I had GYTR nerfs and thought they were great. They have a few different kinds whether you want to use your pegs, a "monster length" peg, 1 piece, 2 piece, etc. Quality was on par and after 3 years they have held up for MX racing. I would give them a look too.

I don't think many can compare to Raths. I recently bought the signature series after all my buddies are running them: TOP NOTCH! I like Houser products, but I think Rath's are just better. I am not a sponsored rider by Rath. It did take some time to get them, but I ordered mine right at the beginning of Nationals (probably their busiest time of the year. I think they are worth every penny.

I know it doesn't much matter since you already placed an order but if you are worried about the peg height I have heard a lot of good reviews on the gytr they are supposed to have 1.5" lower peg than anyone else. Not exactly sure on price tag

well, got the Housers on and they fit great!

The pegs definitely rest a little higher which will take some getting used to but should work fine with a few minor tweaks to the brake and shift pedal. These things definitely have some give to them and should really help isolate vibrations from going through to your feet.
